Bounce Crates are more durable and can be used as a trampoline, and also spawn more Wumpa Fruit when broken. Standard crates are the most common and will drop Wumpa Fruit that acts as a food item when broken. Also like R.O.B.'s similar move, the jetpack has a fuel meter that will eventually run out, leaving Crash unable to fly again until he first hits the ground.Д¬rash will place one of five different crates in front of him. Crash can still attack with the jetpack equipped and will not go into freefall after using it. While in the 'flung' state, Crash's entire body is a hitbox.Д¬rash dons a jetpack and is able to use it to hover and ascend, in similar fashion to R.O.B.'s up special. At the apex of Polar's dash, he will halt and accidentally launch Crash forward. Polar will suddenly spawn between Crash's legs and dash forward a short distance, charging into any nearby enemies. Rapidly pressing the button will result in the Death Tornado Spin, which multi-hits opponents and will slow Crash's descent in the air. Tapping the button will result in a quick, single-hitting attack that works well as a get off me move. Since specials are usually more unique, formatting for these will be handled differently than the aforementioned moves.Д¬rash performs his signature spin attack. Down Throw: Crash climbs onto the opponent, puts them into a headlock, and slams them onto the ground.Up Throw: Crash holds the opponent under his arm, bends over, then throws them into the air while putting his back into it.Back Throw: Crash spins in place with the opponent and tosses them behind him.Forward Throw: Crash spins in place with the opponent and tosses them forward.Pummel: Crash jabs his knee into the opponent.Grab: Crash grabs with both of his hands.Down Aerial: Crash performs his belly flop move, sending him straight down until he hits the ground or a blast zone.Up Aerial: Crash backflips with his feet extended.Back Aerial: Crash spins around and throws out a punch behind him.Forward Aerial: Crash swings his feet forward.Neutral Aerial: Crash twirls with his limbs extended.Down Smash: Crash bends over, then stands on his head and spins in place.Up Smash: Crash takes out his yoyo and charges it on the ground with an active hitbox like Ness'.Forward Smash: Crash takes out an Iron Checkpoint Crate and holds it to his side, then swings it forward before putting it away.Down Tilt: Crash performs his slide from Cortex Strikes Back and Warped, traveling him a short distance forward.Side Tilt: Crash reaches forward for an extended punch.Dash: Crash lunges forward and cartwheels forward, with a special property that has him drag an opponent with him and throw them if it connects, based on how he typically starts the animal riding stages.Jab: Crash attacks with a left hook, a right hook, and then a quick spinning kick.Crash can also obtain Aku Aku or an extra layer after using his Final Smash, unless doing so would grant him the invincibility. But if Crash manages to break open, a third Aku Aku Crate, the mask will suddenly attach himself to his face and make Crash invincible, with the same effect as the Super Star item but with the appropriate jingle. If Crash takes damage in intervals of 75%, then Aku Aku will be unstacked or disappear. While the chance becomes rarer again, Crash can also stack Aku Aku by breaking open another crate, in which it will then be bumped up to x1.5. Also unlike more generally jack of all trades characters, Crash's use of specials give him a more patience, punishing-based playstyle, similarly to how Banjo & Kazooie's specials lean them more toward spacing characters.ДЄku Aku: Crash's down special has a rare chance to spawn an Aku Aku Crate, which when broken open by Crash will summon the eponymous mask deity to his side, during which Crash's knockback resistance will be increased by x0.5.
